This is yet another new release (2020) by the gaming giant, Microgaming. Roman Power was designed by Spin Play Games, and it seems like this developer is not quite ambitious with this title which is also their first.
I got to play this slot game on my favourite online casino, and it’s a title that comes with an Ancient Rome theme.

Roman Power uses the 5 reels, and 20 active lines for its set up. You work by forming winning combinations, with the help of features like the slot’s Wilds.

To spin the reels, you will need to use at least $0.20 per round. Microgaming allows a maximum of $50 per each gaming round. If you are a risk-taker, you can use up to $2.50 per line.

I love slot games that come with a variety of features, but unfortunately, Roman Power does not offer much.
I was quite bored with the game since the few features present are the usual wilds that I have seen enough times on other titles.
The Hero Wild is an expanding symbol that also happens to be the only present feature symbol on this game. You can use it as a substitute in assisting other wins, but on its own, the wild symbol can form wins of up to 20x the stake on every line where it lands.
With one Hero Wild appearing on the reels, you will get a chance to work with a random feature known as Power Multipliers. Given its random nature, this feature will be able to randomly select the multiplier value. The value, in this case, can be between 2x and 10x.
Theme & Design
Roman Power has an Ancient Rome military theme, and the storyline borrows from the famous legions that let the city become an empire for many centuries.
As I have already mentioned, the Hero Wild is the main symbol of the game. Other symbols present here include several images of helmets, shields, armour, swords, and bracers. Royals are also present to represent the low-value symbols.
The design of this game is very pretty, and I love the fact that Microgaming has used a modern style for this title.
Conclusion
Roman Power is one of the simplest slots that I have played in the recent past. However, due to its high volatility, it’s a very risky game that is most suitable for more experienced gamers.
